Position – Business Development Executive.  

Simplotel is looking to hire a Business Development Executive, in a full-time capacity, who is responsible for selling our SaaS our offerings to hotels. The is a B2B sales position based out of Bangalore but requires extensive traveling.

You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing them, and closing them. Once the customer signs up, you will also be responsible to ensure that the customer is onboarded. If you enjoy meeting people, have the flair to build relationships, and are able to explain complex technical concepts to laymen, you will enjoy working in this position.


  • Generate leads, cold call hotels, schedule meetings and do product demonstrations for hotels.
  • Become a product/industry expert and understand the product inside out.
  • Handle objections, nurture leads, negotiate contracts, and sign up hotels.
  • Meet or exceed your quarterly revenue targets.
  • Travel extensively to nearby markets for the same purpose.
  • Manage leads in CRM and send out Daily Sales Reports.
  • Attend trade events to generate leads. Develop partnerships to generate more leads.
  • Gather information required from hotels to onboard them, coordinate with the onboarding team and communicate with the customers.
  • Meet existing customers and develop relationships.

Skills required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in Hindi and/or regional languages a plus.
  • Persuasive and ability to convince people. Ability to build rapport with people required.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts so that non-technical buyers can understand.
  • Flair to do an engaging presentation and product demo to a set of buyers. Handle objections and consult.
  • Aggressive nature to meet or exceed targets.
  • Experience in Selling SaaS or B2B technology or travel products a plus
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Mandatory: Self Starter and ability to work with little guidance, Ownership, Energy, Ethics, Team player, Hunger to learn
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and MBA preferred (either is not mandatory).

Position – Customer Success Associate / Key Account Management.

The Customer Success Associate or Account Manager will be responsible for driving renewals of our customers and ensuring that they derive maximum value from the use of Simplotel. To achieve this, the account manager will interact regularly  with the clients and build a strong lasting relationship and drives improvements to the customer’s usage of Simplotel and drives adoption of new features that help customers.


  • Drive renewals and upsells for Simplotel.
  • Be in touch with our customers, analyse opportunities for improvement, and convince the customers to adopt such suggestions.
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships.
  • Understand various analytics of our customers and craft and implement strategies to grow it.
  • Deliver metrics and analysis to customers to ensure that they understand the value of our platform
  • Run Google Ad Campaigns and come up with SEO strategies for our customers.
  • Manage schedule and prioritize well, in order to meet deadlines

Skills required

  • 0 – 5 years of Account Management or other customer facing experience.
  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Business or Hotel Management. MBA a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convince internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong analytics skills and good knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, Web analytics & SEO is a plus.
