Prasanth KP, who is the Revenue Manager for Fragrant Nature, believes that after the pandemic domestic travellers have begun to spend on luxury hospitality. This is one of the factors that has also led to the acceleration of online bookings after digitalisation. “Guests have become more comfortable booking online. This is why we decided to switch our booking engine to Simplotel. We love the interface from both perspectives. At the backend, the booking engine is lucid, user-friendly and minimalistic for my team. On the frontend, the guest has a seamless booking journey, where reservations can be made in three-clicks.”
Fragrant Nature roughly does about 50% of its total occupancy through its online. It currently does 5% of its total online occupancy through Simplotel. “The thing I love about Simplotel is that the team is proactive in their updates. This was not the case with our previous booking engine provider. Our suggestions are worked upon swiftly and there is great communication & ownership, right from the top management to the technical support team. As a result, our direct bookings have jumped 4x after onboarding Simplotel within six months. We are also able to leverage the Simplotel Reservation Desk at our convenience.”
Mrs. Anne Sajeev, Managing Director, Aroma Group of Companies, believes that Simplotel has a great product and team. “We love the technology that Simplotel has empowered us with, but more importantly, their customer support.”
Prasanth believes that Simplotel’s unique selling proposition (USP) is its simplicity, reflected in its name, and also its scorecard reports. With nearly 17 years of experience working in hospitality, he believes that to have a successful career, one requires three core skills: patience, the ability to deal with pressure in real-time, and consequently, the ability to think outside the box.
